Long time track and field and cross country coach Kelly Sullivan has been named Seattle University's Head Coach for the men's and women's track and field and cross country programs.

Eighty-four Seattle University student-athletes were named to WAC Academic Teams Thursday, as the conference honored spring sport teams, as well as freshmen and transfers.

Seattle University Athletics has made a change in leadership of the cross country and track and field programs as Head Coach Trisha Steidl will not return in 2017-18.

In Day 3 of the WAC Outdoor T&F Championships, Mandie Maddux grabbed another medal to add to her collection. Multiple Redhawks competing in prelim events qualified for tomorrow's finals.

Maddux won the heptathlon at the WAC Outdoor T&F Championships with a school record 4,999 points. Stein grabbed silver in the 10,000 meter run.
